We went to Pixie Playland with Grandma Ruehl while visiting last weekend. We had a lot of fun watching Brandon and feeding the ducks. I went on the tea cups with him and Grandma drove the cars with him. We all had a great time!

We went to the mall on Saturday to visit Santa at the mall. Since the line took about an hour Wes went and did some of his shopping while Brandon and I waited. We had a lot of fun and love the photos!

Sears Tower Chicago

We went with Wesley's parents and brother Holden to visit the Sears Tower while in Chicago. We were 103 floors up and it was a blast!

Wesley's Navy Graduation

Brandon and I went to Chicago to watch Wes graduate from bootcamp. He is now officially a US Navy Sailor! We had so much fun! Brandon fell asleep near the end of the graduation, he was just to exhausted!

Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent the whole weekend with Aunt Kim and her family. Brandon loved playing with Cameron! Thursday we did the normal Thanksgiving dinner and then shopping at the mall at midnight. That was interesting. Didn't expect it to be quite so crowded, you couldn't hardly move at all. Then Friday we did some more shopping around town and also went to Grandpa Bob's (Nana's husband) grandson's blessing at their house. Then Saturday we went to the Oakland Temple visitors center then off to San Francisco for the day. We had a lot of fun in the 5 story mall there in San Francisco. Sunday morning Brandon and I headed home to get some sleep!

Halloween 2010

Brandon decided to wear his Woody costume again to go Trick or Treating. He wore the Mickey one to the Halloween party on Friday and didn't like having a big belly he said. He is too funny! But he plays the part of Woody so well, and was quoting him, "Yee-Haw!" and "You're my favorite deputy" etc.

NAVY

Wesley is currently at Boot Camp for the US Navy. He went in on Oct 5th and will graduate on December 3rd. He has arranged for Brandon and I to attend his graduation in Great Lakes, Ill so we will be flying into the Chicago airport and then going to Great Lakes. Brandon had been asking me to make him some cookies. So we only had the ingredients for sugar cookies, so I tested out my Grandma's recipe. They turned out so good!!! Here was my attempt at making Brandon a Mickey Mouse cookie.......not too bad!!!

On Saturday Brandon wanted to go feed the ducks at McKinley Park, so we went there and he had a lot of fun. While we were there though I noticed that He had yellow/greenish fluid flowing out of his ear so we headed over to the doctor. He had another ear infection on the left side.....UGH! We went to the Sacramento Zoo on Saturday and saw lots of fun animals. But all Brandon cared about were the giraffs and gorillas. He sat and watched the gorillas for half an hour. Here are some photots we took:

Memorial Day in Baker

I drove up to Baker City for the weekend and suprised the family! It was so fun to see them all and spend a couple days there. Of coarse it went by too fast, but i enjoyed every moment of it! Brandon had a wonderful time too visiting with all his uncles and his grandparents.

Handsome Boy!

Brandon had to get his adenoids taken out and some tubes put into his ears since he has recurring ear infections. We took some photos to kill the wait time a little. He loved playing with the surgical hats. He did well during the procedure, however had a hard time waking up. Over all he did better than me though, I was a nervous wreck!

I was so excited to go to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom this year because Brandon is bigger and can ride more rides. My work had a special day there at the park so we decided to go. Brandon and Wes played Tug-O-War with the Elephant, and then Brandon and I got to go for a ride! This is something that I have wanted to do for a while. Brandon really enjoyed the ride and laughed the whole time! -

What a fun weekend we had! We all went to Disneyland! First stop from Sacramento was picking up Grandma in Flag City, then to spend the night in Bakersfield. We got up early Saturday and spent two days in the park. Brandon did so great. The weather was pretty hot too, around 84 each day........ but we still enjoyed it!

Papa's 76th Birthday

This was November 20th.... so we are a little late posting it! We got to spend the evening with my Papa Dean of his birthday (and actually the whole weekend)! We had a great time! Grandma Ruehl was in Oregon so we had Papa all to ourselves! What fun it was so get to know him a little better. Brandon helped pick out this ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Oh, and Grandma Shauna surprised us by showing up too!

California Capital Air Show

For Brandon's birthday I got tickets to go see the airshow out at Mather Field. It was so much fun (until it got really hot). Brandon got to get on some planes, look at others, and watch planes and cars race. He really enjoyed himself. We stayed for a good majority of the day but then we all got tired and it was going to be another 3 hours before the thunderbirds flew, so we missed them, but we did see the Patriots who put on a good show! Wesley came with us, which was fun too! Brandon enjoyed nachos and a sno cone (on his face below!). He had a really good birthday weekend! He was so excited that we took a train (light rail) and then the shuttle bus to get out to the air show!

Dentist Appointment

Brandon and I both had our 6 month cleaning appointments at the dentist yesterday. Brandon was in the next room and sat on my mom's lap. He did so well. He let the dentist clean all his teeth for the first time. (Of coarse he was bribed with a new train!!!) I wasn't able to get a few pictures like I had hoped since I was getting mine cleaned at the same time. I was proud of him though for being so good. I know it can be a little scary!

Fun in Red Bluff

We went to the park and creek while up in Red Bluff yesterday. We had so much fun!

Relaxing on the double slide. (Until about 30 seconds later when Brandon slid down and landed on me giving me a massive headache... laughs now)

We went to Build-A-Bear to make Uncle Mason a teddy bear for his birthday and since it wasn't open yet, Brandon took my keys to try to open the gate himself! It was pretty funny!

Seeing the tour bus was pretty cool! Kevin laughed at me for being all giggly!

Any of you that know me, know that I absolutely LOVE Kenny Chesney's music. And what better fun than seeing him in concert with my sweetie? It was a great day in San Francisco! This was his Sun City Carnival Tour. We had a blast. We had Sand Bar seats right next to the stage. What a treat this was!!! Sweet!!!

Also in attendance was Miranda Lambert as one of the opening acts, and another band called Lady Antebellum

Bounce Spot

Yesterday Brandon had a birthday party to go to for his friend Syrus. It was at Bounce Spot in West Sacramento. Everything in the room is inflatable and you bounce all over. As you can tell it was fun for kids and adults, and might be going back there again soon!!! About an hour of this and you are worn out for the night. Good thing there was a pizza party afterwards, Brandon had a big appetite worked up!

Today we went to Lodi where there is a cool zoo and kid ride area called Micke's Grove. Brandon loved the bald eagle and we were trying to see how big his "wing span" is compared to the big birds! He thought it was funny!

These looked like raccoons at first, but were Lemur's. Brandon thought they were cool!

I needed to catch a minute while he was in a cuddly, happy mood! He actually let me hold him for a few minutes while he was distracted by the animals.

This was the bald eagle that Brandon was really into! He watched it for quite a while.

On Feb 21, we went to Fairfield, CA to visit the Jelly Belly Factory. We went through the whole tour and had a lot of fun! Brandon watched as they made all the different colors and flavors of the beans. He really liked the end of the tour when they hand out the bag of jelly belly's to you! He calls the Jelly Belly's "Happy Happy's" for some reason that we have not figured out yet!
